Birthday Party

Today Preston went to a birthday party for his friend Cole who also lives in our complex. This was the first birthday party where Preston helped pick out the present and he was so excited to give Cole his present. He was pretty shy and stuck with me throughout the party and continually asked when it was time for presents.

They played the cutest game where they threw a ring and whatever candy it landed over was yours to keep.

Fairytale Town

It has been such nice weather lately and since our Fairytale Town pass expires next month I decided to take the boys. We had a great time, just the three of us.

 I decided to get the key that turns on the boxes throughout the park. Preston was so excited and when we left he said "the boxes were my favorite part!" So glad it made him happy :)

Jelly Belly Factory with the Fam

On Martin Luther King Jr Day we decided to meet up with Matt and Lyns and kids and Brett, Anna and Kayden since there was no school and the boys had work off. This was the first time Aaron had MLK Jr day off and I was so happy he was able to come with us to the Jelly Belly Factory.

Of course Preston and Luke had to ride the Jelly Belly motorcycle at the entrance and Aaron was nice enough to let them even though the area was blocked off.

We had such a great time and went to In N Out after for lunch. We weren't quite ready to go home yet so we made a little stop at a nearby park and Preston and Kayden played together.

We love getting together with our family!

Potty Training

I think Preston has probably been ready for a while, but I decided to hold off on potty training until after we were used to life with a new baby and got back from holiday travel. Preston got his new Spiderman underwear that he asked for for Christmas and was so excited to be wearing his big boy underwear.

We made a drawing of Preston going potty on the toilet and made a chart that we would draw a star every time he went in the potty. He would also get jelly beans every time he went. He did SOOO well and didn't have any accidents.

Preston's first #2 in the toilet!! Such a proud moment.

I definitely think Preston was ready to be potty trained!

Looking at Daddy

I love how this boy looks at his dad. You can just see that he loves him so much.

New Year's Eve

Another New Year's Eve at home, just the two of us. This was the first year we couldn't make it to midnight and had our toast a little early. I guess that's what 2 kids does to you. Happy New Year!! 2013, bring it on!
