Getting Our Christmas Tree

On Monday night for FHE we decided to go get our Christmas Tree. We weren't very adventurous and just went to Home Depot but we had a great time and found a great tree.
We put a hat on Tanner to keep him warm but he ended up moving his head so much it always was covering covering his eyes so we took it off. Such a cutie with it on though.
Preston loved looking at all the trees.
We found the one!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year with the Carter family. On Thanksgiving day we went to Aaron's aunt and uncle's house (even though the were out of town)to have Thanksgiving with cousins that were staying there.

The next night we had dinner with Gustafson side of the family. We had such a great time and the highlight of the night was playing Redneck Life. So fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Going Private

I'm not sure how many people even read this blog but I've decided to go private. I am concerned about who is viewing this blog and would rather keep our little family safe. If you would like to be invited to view our blog leave a comment, leave a message on facebook or text me with your email address. Hopefully I will still have SOME followers once I go private?

Tanner's Blessing

Tanner's Blessing day was such a special day for our family. He looked so sweet in his blessing outfit, the same outfit we used for Preston.

It was so wonderful to have our families there to support us and Tanner of for the Priesthood holders to participate in the blessing. I forgot to take a picture of just the men but Dad gave the blessing and Grandpa's Coons and Carter, Uncle's Matt, Brett and Wes and cousin Thomas all participated. It was such an incredible blessing and Tanner is truly going to be such an amazing force for good in the world.

After the blessing Wes and Lani were kind enough to let us have a luncheon at their house.

Halloween

I knew right away that a football player would be the perfect costume for Preston since he is so obsessed with football and it was so fun to revolve the rest of our costumes around him. Our first activity for Halloween was trick or treating at Aaron's job. It was SO FUN to be able to visit dad at work and meet the people he works with. Preston got a TON of candy, we even put some back.

After trick or treating at Oracle we went to Wes and Lani's for a little party.

I love how he was just relaxing in the chair while he ate.

It was SO fun watching him walk up to the doors and say "trick or treat." He would always continue holding out his basket for more candy expecting more.
