First Wedding Cake

I was asked by Dee to help make a wedding cake for one of Hillary's good friends. I thought it would be a fun challenge so I said yes. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!

Park City with the Girls

I am so lucky to have such an incredible group of friends that I grew up with. We are really more like sisters and getting together is so much fun. Our last reunion was in San Diego in 2008 so I was so excited to be able to get together again, this time in Park City.
We stayed at the Marriot Summit Watch Resort (thank you Atkins!) and had the best time hanging out, shopping, eating and swimming.
We had a limited window of time to do the reunion with me being 30 weeks pregnant and Melanie having a 7 week old baby. It was so fun having Charlotte there!
Right outside our hotel was Main Street so we could just go downstairs and outside for food and window shopping.

I thought this was going to be a nice relaxing trip. I forgot that we would be spending all our time talking, and I was pregnant uncomfortable, so I actually slept less than usual and came home so tired. Lauren snapped this picture of me trying to get a little rest.
We spent a good amount of time at the resort pool just relaxing and talking.
Me and Mel
Sheryl with her kids Rockwell and Vienna. So glad we got to see them.
Susie and Mandy
Mel, being fabulous
Tari and Mindy

Little Charlotte was adorable and so tiny in her swimsuit and hat!

We also went to the alpine slides. Mindy and I watched Charlotte while the rest of the girls did the slide down the mountain.

After the slides we were going to this Mexican Restaurant and right outside we saw Steve Young and his wife!! No one wanted to bug him and he was on his phone but we got this picture as proof! It was such a cool celebrity sighting!
We had such a great trip and I love these girls!
Me, Mel, Mandy, Susie, Mindy, Tari, Sheryl and Lauren. Can't wait for the next trip!

Watercolor

I decided that Preston needed to do more arts and crafts and thought water color would be a good start. He absolutely loved it!

Pregnancy

I haven't been as good at taking belly pictures this pregnancy but here is a glimpse at the progression from week 20 to 29. He's growing!
20 weeks
24 weeks
28 weeks
Lyndsey and I at 20 and 29 weeks respectively
Can't wait til our little boy is here!!

Visiting Alamo

We always love visiting family in Alamo. Here we are in church.
I think it is so cool that Wyatt MacDonald and Preston attend nursery together. Lance and I were doing the same thing 28 years ago at the same place!

After church popcorn with the grandsons. They are all saying "cheese".

Aaron's 28th Birthday

Aaron turned 28 this year and for his present I did something a little different. The visor in his car on the driver's side has been broken and won't stay in place. The few times I have driven the Honda it drives me CRAZY so I knew he must be hating it. So, I got him a brand new visor and had his car detailed :)
On his actual birthday we went out for an incredible dinner at a place we had never been to before, Bandera. The food was ah-mazing. After dinner we had friends over for cake. The cake was from Ettore's and was also ah-mazing.

Preston had to help dad with the candles.
Sad that these were the only pictures we took but it was a great day. Happy Birthday Aaron!!!!

Sacramento Children's Museum

On June 13th Preston and I were able to go to the Sacramento Children's Museum with a bunch of friends. We had the greatest time and Preston loved all the different activities.
The Water Tables with Jett

Painting the glass

Gears
Dress up. I was surprised when Preston passed up the firefighter and the policeman and chose the mayor.

Preston's ultimate favorite was the ramps with the golf balls. He couldn't get enough.
At the entrance they had a giant lite bright that all the kids loved.

Preston's Big Boy Bed

We've been wanting to get Preston a toddler bed for some time and finally got it set up this weekend.  It was in the box for a few days and every time Preston would wake up and see it sitting in the corner he would say, "Let's build it together." He was very excited about helping to build his big boy bed.

SOOO happy his new bed is ready!
As soon as it was done Aaron asked him if he liked his big boy bed. He said, "I love my new bed". I tried to recreate it on video but he was just too excited to focus.

"CHEESE"
We were a little nervous about whether or not he would stay in his bed with so much freedom and tried hard to prep him for a few weeks before we actually got the bed set up. He was so excited that he went right to sleep in his big boy bed! Such a relief for his parents.
