It's official. I will never watch The Bachelor ever again, regardless of whether it was a setup or not. It's lame, and has been a waste of my time. Poor Melissa. You handled it perfectly.
Well, except for tomorrow night's After the Final Rose Part 2, THEN I'll be done.
Boo Molly.

Seriously. That was so lame of them. I kept thinking, thank goodness Jillian avoided this train wreck.
I actually didn't like Melissa at all by the end, I preferred Molly (even though for awhile there I didn't like her). But I think Jason is such a putz now. Why would Molly want to be sloppy seconds?
I would die of shock if Jason got married one day and stayed married. He's a putz. And the Bachelor is just a show set-up where guys can sleep with as many girls as they want to. There's no way monogamy can come out of that show. Lame-o.
P.S. I like the pictures, Aaron!
I didn't watch that much of it this season. She has the same color eyes you do though...did you notice. I'm sorry it didn't go the way you wanted it to. That's why I stopped watching I guess.
Great pictures Aaron. At first I thought those were from the google or something. Beautifully done :)
I agree...he is super lame. What a loser!!
I actually thought it was very entertaining tv. Unlike most people - I am not mad at him, I think he is the first one to be honest. They date in a bubble and then get sent out into the "real" world and things change. Most of these couples break up - just not on TV. He said in an interview he was bound by his contract to have his relationship, including the break-up on TV. I feel bad for Melissa. But, I liked both of them and always thought Jason was really in love with Molly, but thought he chose the more conservative, less risky Melissa based on Deanna's input. Can't wait for tonight!
I really, really hate to admit I've been thinking about this all day, but there you go. The reason why Jason is a jerk is because 1) he broke up with the girl he was GOING TO MARRY on national television, and 2) starting sucking face with his ex two seconds after, on national television. No class, no taste, so wrong. How could he have been bound by contract to do it on TV when none of the other bachelors/bachelorettes have ever broken up on TV? I really wonder how he got sucked into doing that because it seems the opposite of everything I thought about him- it makes me wonder what on the show is real or not.
But such good quality drama for real! I loved how with the after the rose they didn't show what was "coming up" when they'd break for commercial. There was no need- people were glued to their sets.
Ok, I'm done monopolizing your comments.
Yes, Jason is a jerk. I agree with whoever said he will never get married. he has no idea what he wants and Molly is dumb. I hope she dumps him. go Melissa for being so pissed off. I was so excited to watch this even though I never really faithfully watched the season.
Can't wait for tonight where they reveal, "Things have changed. Something's different."
I feel bad for poor Ty, his dad has now introduced him to three potential new mommies and then he can't make it work with any of them!!!
There's my mini rant.
I haven't watched the episode yet but I know what happens. (How could I not?) I don't think he's the jerk everyone is making him to be. Do you really think that someone could go through that process and not be confused?
I haven't watched it, but I think its funny that the most comments you get are about this show!!?
Yeah, that was pretty messed up and I agree with Mel. Love the pics Aaron!
Wow! That sounds like a lot of DRAMA! I'm glad that I don't watch it-if I did I would be in that same emotional roller-coaster you are all in. So emily, you will have to tell me all about it since I don't know who is who. Who was the girl from last season's bachelorrete?
Hey Aaron, This is Joe Byram...yes, the new cheese grater face. I NEED to finally get in touch with you and many others. I have nothing to say about the bachelor cause I don't watch it but I've heard on the radio shows what a jerk thing that was to do on the air. The whole concept of dating while being filmed is so fake, a relationship can't start like that. Anyways, Aaron...write me at joemelitommy@hotmail.com. I'd love to get in touch with you and with your bro who I haven't talked to since last year a long time ago. It's so hard to stay in contact when you live so far away. What is your email address? I'll talk to you later bro. Awesome recipies on your other blog by the way.
haha - this cracks me up. I feel the same. Poor Melissa. :( Love the crossed out faces. :)
I fully agree with Jen Packers comment. I watch the show for pure entertainment... and that's just what it did. Dates in helicopters, living in New Zealand for a week or two... no work, no school. Then the cameras go away and it's back to all the hard stuff that EVERYONE does from day to day. It sucks that they are bound by contracts, but no one forced them to sign up. All parties involved are guilty. And, I liked both girls, but in Molly's defense, it wasn't her fault that Jason changed his mind. Jason just shouldn't have proposed to Melissa until he knew for sure whom he loved. I still get a kick out of every season that these people can date for a few weeks (publicly) and then think it is actually going to work out. I love this show!
Dito!!!!
Hi! I'm a random person that stumbled on your blog... I was trying to find a picture with molly with a big cross over her face and I found it on your blog!! YAY! Thanks! I feel the same way as you do! I was so upset! Oh by the way my name is Natalie and I'm from Provo Utah. Nice to meet you!
Okay, I agree. But now cute Melissa is on dancing with the stars and seriously kicking but! Watch her on that show. She is soooo good.
Okay, I know this is old news, but I'm doing some catching-up on blogs. :) I'm actually with Jen and Meredith... I AM sad about how it turned out... I LOVED Melissa (Well Jillian more, and I can't wait to see her as the bachelorette!!), but I'm not mad at Jason. I respect him... this wasn't an easy thing to go through, and I really feel that he did what he felt was best at every step of the way. He's just a guy, trying to do what he thought was right. And of course he had to propose to someone right? What would the show be without a proposal? I doubt he could have even not-proposed if he wanted to. It would have been better if Melissa didn't have to get hurt, and I definitely liked him better with Melissa. Oh well... guess that's what we all signed up for... that's why it called reality tv right? Now on to the Bachelorette! (Which I probably wouldn't watch if it was Jillian on it.. I love her!)
