What do you see?

Yep, that is the very first picture of our baby that is coming March 14th, 2010. We are so incredibly excited and already feel like this last 12 weeks is creeping by. I can't wait to have this baby!
Here is the ultrasound we had last Friday at about 12 weeks. You can make out the alien head on the right, arm buds and chest on the left. The little feet are supposedly in there somewhere too. We got to see the heart beat but won't hear it til our next appointment on September 25th.

I hardly feel like I'm pregnant because the only major difference I feel is that I'm extremely tired. I probably shouldn't say this because most other women will hate me, but I really haven't been sick. I've had the occasional nausea when I wake up before I eat anything but other than that the only sicknesses I've been fighting are colds and the stomach flu.
We won't find out what we're having til the end of October but I'm curious to know what everyone thinks so I'll be putting a poll on the sidebar. Let us know what you think!

On another note, we have a whole lot of blogging to catch up on so look for our Summer 2009 post coming soon.

Congratulations! I'm excited to be the first to comment... I am thrilled for you and Aaron! Yes, those ultrasounds do look a bit alien-ish. And isn't it completely shocking what pregnancy exhaustion feels like? I was not prepared for that.

Sign me up to bring you dinner in March! Or earlier if you need it :)

Congratulations! I don't know why, but I've been thinking lately, "I wonder if Emily's pregnant." Weird, considering we haven't seen you guys in forever. Your baby is already perfectly adorable.

YAY FOR EMILY!

I can't wait to know what it is so I can get you guys a present.

That was my first thought.

I'm guessing...girl.

But it could be a boy too, one can never be too sure.

I'm so excited for you guys!

YEAH!!! Congrats! I'm so happy for you both. I'm going to guess a boy. Also, the baby in your "baby tickler" moves....it's sort of creepy.
I'm so excited! Talk to you soon!

She/he looks so cute. I love this stage where they look like little gummy bears. I felt guilty, too when I wasn't sick at all with Leah but after getting sick the last 2 pregnancies I would say that if you don't enjoy it and realize how lucky you are not to be sick, then that would make me upset! I'm so glad you have been feeling good. :)

And Tari, it would be a lot creepier if it was called a "baby tickler" like you said and not a "baby TICKER". Hehe.

Yay! I'm guessing a girl, because I like baby girls better. I can't wait to see you guys and meet little baby Mindy.
