Preston's First Filling

Poor Preston had his first filling today but he was such a trooper! He seriously did so well, did not cry at all and actually seemed so relaxed I thought he was going to fall asleep. Lucky for him it was just a surface cavity so he didn't have to have a shot! Afterwards we were able to have some Mom and Preston time and get a Jamba Juice. Hopefully we won't have any more of these in the near future!

Aren't you glad they give him gas? I don't remember ever getting that option. I was talking with my friend how getting serious dental work done is a toss up with the pain associated with childbirth, which is more traumatizing? For me I only know c-section, but it feels a less mentally difficult.
