Last year we had a great time snowboarding, but Aaron wasn't sure he wanted to go again after the beating he gave himself that day. We decided to give it another shot, and this time he loved it! Matt, Lyndsey, Trevor, Brad and Jessi also came with us. It was Jessi's first time and Trevor's first time in a long time so Aaron was in good company.
Everyone came up to Roseville Friday night and spent the night in our one bedroom apartment, and then we left for the slopes Saturday morning. It was a short hour and a half drive to Alpine Meadows.

Since Aaron was doing so well, I went with Matt, Lyndsey and Brad to the summit. 
We had a gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe, although I have to admit after most of the day on the bunny hill, this run was a little daunting for me. It just drops off right behind Brad.
Back at the apartment. We were wasted by the end of the day.
We had an awesome day of snowboarding and hope to go again before the end of the season.

That looks so fun. Aaron, I'm proud of you! Way to go! Snowboarding is soooo hard the first time, it's amazing how much better it is after that (but I still hurt like crazy).

Wow. Good job Aaron and Em for a hard day on the slopes. You guys amaze me. I've given up on cold icy sports. Looks like you had a great day in Tahoe though. Next time we'll have you at our condo and we'll stay in and you guys can do the slopes. Or we can all try snow shoeing...my parents have them in all sizes.
